December 2020

Once again we find ourselves in lockdown as Suffolk enters Tier 4.

We wanted to update you to let you know that our animals are all very well.  Our stud team are working extremely hard to ensure their charges are all well fed, warm and dry (where possible!).

Our stud staff have split into 2 groups, Team A and Team B, each comprised of 3 members of the team.   They are working 8 days on and 8 days off to ensure that they do not cross over.  This means that should any member of the team fall ill, the other team can swing into action.  We have also reluctantly asked our volunteers to remain at home as per government guidelines.

Hopefully we will not be in Tier 4 for too long and we will be able to welcome visitors back in early 2021.  We will keep you updated via social media.  The office is being manned with a skeleton staff so if you call us and get the answer phone please leave a message as we are checking the phones remotely every day so will get back to you.  Email is also checked every day.

In the meantime we would like to give a huge thank you to all our supporters.  Your continued support has enabled us to carry on in the vital work we are doing to protect the magnificent breed that is the Suffolk Punch Horse.  We are truly grateful for all that you have done in 2020 to support us and hope to see you in 2021.
